Fall/Winter 2013 is the return of the narrative in fashion, themes of winter white wonderland, dark romance, vampy vixens and new grunge. I went with a group of fashion bloggers to the visit the FW13 Press Launch at Electric sekki for some style jamming! Here are some photos of my favorite contemporary brands (House of Holland, Sass & Bide, Twenty8Twelve, Style Stalker and MINKPINK).
House of Holland
Here I am wearing a purple duffle coat from House of Holland and Nicole Chui fashion blogger of The Fashion Wonton is wearing a statement fur cape also from House of Holland.
The Fashion Wonton
Henry Holland goes back to the autumn of 1989. This autumn, House of Holland it is all about the 70s graphic interior prints, color palette of vampy jewel hues of the rainbow, embellished with quirky motifs. House of Holland is all about the confident, savvy and full attitude and goes beyond slogan tees to design full-fledged fashion collections with vivid colours and poppy prints.
Sass & Bide
Style By Emmy with a Sass & Bide "Tower Of Strength" – white shorts with placement embroidery &beading embellishment side metal zip
The Autumn/Winter 13 collection ‘wintergate’, Sass and Bide went for a more subdued tonal white embellishment on their range of stunning finale pieces. Sass and Bide explores the unique designs of exotic tribal references of sharp contrast monochromatic patterns, hot hues & metallic accents. Sass & Bide took an edgier approach; using metallic trimmings, cutouts and leather, for a more casual and romantic took.
